Does your program work with single parents and gay couples?
Yes. Cori's believes that everyone has the right to be a parent, regardless of their age, marital status or sexual orientation.

How are the Egg Donors or Surrogates paid?
This depends on how the contract is written. Prior to the start of medications, the Intended Parents set-up a fully funded Trust Account. This account will be used to pay the Egg Donor and/or Surrogate according to the contract guidelines.

How do I secure a donor through your agency?
First, review our Web site and contact us to request the password to access our secure donor database. Once you notify us that you have selected a donor, we will confirm her availability and we will provide you with a Letter of Intent which will outline the expected costs, provide a schedule of payments, request a deposit to begin work on your behalf and put an official hold on your selected Donor. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will draft and issue a Services Agreement for your review and signature and a temporary hold will be placed on your selected donor. When we receive your signed contract and next payment, your Donor will officially be secured

How long does it take to find a suitable Egg Donor and/or Surrogate?
The matching process must be one that’s mutual for everyone involved. This may be as short as a few days or as long as several months. We feel it best to keep a realistic approach to the matching process. Don’t set your expectations so high that you don’t allow for someone that could be the right match for you slip by. It’s also important to keep in mind that our economy remains in state of flux and while many are still seeking surrogacy to create a child, financially there are fewer resources available in terms of financing and other assistance to parents going through this process.

What is Cori's screening process for Egg donor and Surrogate applicants?
Egg Donor and Surrogate candidates initially apply with our company either on-line or contact us by phone to receive a Egg donor and/or surrogate application and program information. A series of basic questions are asked to ensure the surrogate candidate meets the general criteria. Once this has been met the Egg donor/Surrogate proceeds to an extensive application and list of program requirements that she must complete and/or obtain in order to be considered for our program. An in-person interview is conducted with both the surrogate and her spouse/partner. We obtain your previous birth records from your OBGYN and require that a current physical exam and/or pap smear also be completed either by your own OBGYN or primary care physician or one of our choosing. A background investigation and psychological screening will also be completed prior to your profile being made available to any recipient parent. Once matched, you will be sent to the prospective parents’ reproductive physician for an in-depth physical exam, testing for both infectious disease screening (would also include your husband/partner) drug screening and any other testing deem necessary by the physician to determine your suitability and ability to conceive and safely carry a child. Any additional psychological or medical testing/screening can be performed at the request of the prospective parents or the fertility physician.

    What services do you provide?
We match intended parents with the right surrogate mother for them. Using the details you submit in your profile and from discussions we have with you, we locate a surrogate mother who has the same views as you do. There are some very specific aspects of surrogacy which need to be agreed upon before we even tell you about a prospective surrogate mother. For example if you want three embryos to be transferred at the time of transfer there is no point in matching you with a surrogate mother who will only agree to having one embryo transferred. Our services include: 1. Coordinating the testing of the surrogate mother and her spouse. 2. Coordinating the background and psychological evaluations. 3. Coordinating the contract process between you and your surrogate mother. 4. Coordinating with the fertility centers, attorneys, psychologists, obstetricians and hospitals

What type of egg donation agreements do you arrange?
Anonymous Agreements - Confidential-identifying information will not be provided to either the Intended Parents or the Donor. No personal meetings will be coordinated. Semi-open Agreements - Confidential-identifying information will not be provided to either the Intended Parents or the Donor. Both parties may agree to meet in a personal setting with Cori's Egg Donation present as the facilitator. Open Agreements - Confidential-identifying information for both the Intended Parents and Donor will be released. A personal meeting may also occur between Intended Parents, Donor and Cori's Egg Donation present as the facilitator. Both parties must agree for an open donation to occur.

Where do your Egg Donors and Surrogates come from?
Most live in Southern California. Many call in response to my advertisement in the local college newspaper's, ads ran in other local publications, and the Internet. Some are referrals from friends who have gone through our agency
